You asked me for this, so I’m giving it a go! I will have a small (and I mean very small) collection of outfits that will fit 14″ and 14.5″ dolls like Wellie Wishers and Hearts 4 Hearts for sale at Lincoln Square this weekend. Below are a few pictures. Let’s see how it goes! The thing that most people don’t realize about smaller doll clothes is that the construction steps are exactly the same as sewing for the larger dolls, except that everything is done with tiny seams and hems. This requires meticulous pinning and sewing. Time-wise, there is very little difference between making clothes for the larger dolls and the smaller dolls. I do have a variety of patterns for these dolls, all from Pixie Faire, ‘natch, and look forward to the new designs available to me.
